One of the most astounding things about the UAE is their standard hotels - called apartment hotels. They are enormous
with kitchens and an appliance we had never seen before- which is a combination of a clothes washer & dryer in one unit.
Most are also inclusive of the usual toiletries and hair dryer. Some include bathrobes and many other things.
UAE is apparently also a place where people around many parts of the world come to shop. It is a place to get a “good deal”
on expensive items, which you do not have to pay taxes on.
One of the most exciting developments in the UAE is Abu Dhabi's Masdar City - the alternative energy and ecological
dream city that should be completed in 2016.
