INTERNATIONAL PRESS CONFERENCE FOR RELIGIOUS PEACE
Organized by Embrace Foundation in 1985 at the United Nations Chapel. Religious leaders from around the world representing the: Christian, Hindu, Islamic, Jewish, Buddhist, Sufi, Baha'i, Jain, Sikh
and Zoroastrian traditions (encompassing many denominations) addressed the media on issues of objective reporting in areas of conflict. They also emphasized the need for less sensationalism and
more positivism in news reporting worldwide.
